A Dutch person came to me last week and said ‘if your a Dutch diving center where are all your Dutch staff?’. Well here is the answer, actually they where all at the Dutch Diving show Duikvaker 2008.

The inspiration for this post came while I was at one of the Diving Centers yesterday and a Polish woman came in asking for ‘Nurkowanie’ (Diving), she was a PADI Open Water Diver and had dived in Hurghada last year. This year she found herself in our hotel and asking ‘How much is Diving?’.
The answers I got from her where a bit of a shock…
Our price list is not the Lowest in Hurghada (with our loyalty discount it certainly IS attractive) and it is not the Highest by any means! But the prices this girl was demanding made me a bit disconcerted!
We all know that there is a choice in Hurghada of hundred’s of diving centers and you ALL have your choice who you go with but how many of you are tempted by the LOW prices from XYZ Diving Center or ABC Travel Agency?
Anyway the answer from the guest was that she wanted to go for one day diving including us providing her Full Equipment for 30$…
So what do you get from OUR Diving Center that justifies a ‘Premium’ Price (and like I said I don’t think we are a High price!) compared to other deals you may get?
In no particular order;
From March 1st (To be confirmed), ALL diving guests & staff will be covered for Decompression accident’s for FREE after our deal with Hypermed goes through, this is a first in Hurghada to offer ALL guests FREE Decompression Chamber insurance
We have Oxygen and Fully Stocked Medical Kit’s on all of our boat’s and in the Diving centers!
We have the options of 10 L, 12 L, 15 L Steel or Aluminium Tanks!
We have 32% Nitrox for FREE!
We have GREAT, clean, good looking, functional boat’s!
We have Great multilingual, FUN, Professional Staff!
Maximum 6 certified guests to one Dive Guide, less if possible!
With diving inside the Hotel you get to see everything we have to offer instead of being surprised by quality of equipment or boat’s etc. the day you transfer to your booked diving center!
Etc. Etc. Etc.
I’m not going to say anything about transfer’s because if you know the quality of the center you are going to then you don’t mind to transfer!
We have many loyal guests who transfer from all over Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay to come diving with us but they KNOW what they are getting, do you?

On the 9th February 2008 Deep Divers, PADI International & PADI Course Director Reinder Alkema came together at Duikvaker 2008 and agreed the upgrade of Deep Divers Hurghada to become a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center.
Deep Divers together with PADI Course Director Reinder Alkema will shortly be agreeing timetables and schedules for our 2008 Intructor Courses.
